Premium Cinema Emotion is a channel solely dedicated to cinema, which is part of the mux Dfree along with other channels of Pay of the Premium Gallery offer: Joy, Mya, Steel, Disney Channel, Premium Cinema Energy, Comedy and Crime.
It offers romantic stories, soap, passions but also film for all the family.
The challange
We took care of the brand of the channel in 2010 for it’s launch.
This year we were asked to create two new openers that would illustrate the offer of the growing channel.
The solution
We explored deeply the theme of the veils, that this year seem more delicate or included in a most defined environment. We usually like to have the opportunity to carry on the work on creative ideas we could not implement due to lack of time, and in this case we had the chance to do it.
In Suspence we have eliminated footages and included in a functional way the 3D elements that recall the topic. The cloth unfolds with the bullet, is magnified by a lens,it gets dirty with fingerprints, blends in few words with the environment and joins it in a dynamic way, creating in our opinion something that was missing to the previous brand.
Regarding Romance, we created what we call “the wind that pushes emotions” in a whirlwind and delicate complex, that integrates, in this specific case, with the footage, overcoming and dragging them one above other.
The result
With all this romance, it ends up that we have softened a bit… yes, us… rude creatives with a cold heart
Imagine, the other day, instead of designing the next job, we went for a walk in a field collecting clovers at sunset. Danilo immediately thought about how he could model it in 3D starting with basic shapes, whether to use a spline or organic modeling, Alessandro also thought there was a bit too much glow and not enough blur in the sky: what we can do, each of us is made his way and every one of us filters from human emotions what he can.
Actually…. do we need to get the “perfect sunset v1.0” plugin..right??
